Born and raised in Clarkston, Michigan, Dr. Brett received a full academic scholarship to the University of Michigan where he graduated with a degree in Chemistry. He went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the highly respected University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
Early in his dental career, Dr. Brett had the privilege of serving as an adjunct clinical lecturer at Michigan’s School of Dentistry as well as teaching future dental hygienists at Baker College. His focus was on aesthetics and providing life-like restorations. While completing his advanced surgical training for implants, he had the honor of being mentored by some of the greatest minds in implants, laboratory work, and cosmetics.
Before landing in Flushing, Dr. Brett practiced dentistry in Northern Michigan where he met his wife Lindsay. Together they have a son, Julian, and a daughter, Ainsley, and three rescue dogs – Barney, Molly and Tyson.
Beyond the office, Dr. Brett enjoys spending time with his family, sports (Go Blue!), outdoor adventures, kayaking, and vacationing. He also serves as a Reserve Deputy with the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.
